There was a door. It was round and made of wood with a silver symbol carved in its center. It stood out in the street, so clean amongst abandoned buildings and old paint peeling off walls. “PHOTOCENTRE”, it said above it. If one would try to open it, it wouldn’t budge.
There was a door. To all those people, it was just a locked door. To us, it was the gate to our world. There was a special word that would make the symbol shine and the wooden panels open. And on the other side would be the crystal lake, and the Temple of the Time Monks. Our home.
