They talk, I listen. Echoes of worlds unseen.
All the dirty secrets they whisper to one another, I hear clearly.
All the lies, all the betrayals, they are mine to keep in the shadows of these walls.
One more dead end, one more turnaround;
Book-filled paths with no destination, lost souls with no salvation;
The only escape lies in the stories held in the pages of this eternal prison.
When you lift your head and see the immensity of infinity above,
When you feel the world is resting on your shoulders only,
Remember you are invincible as long as you dream.
When Night’s end meets Day’s break,
The City of Dawn appears, with all its mysteries.
People disappear in the City of Dawn every day, and I am no exception.
